  • I arrived there at 7 pm, so I waited 1 hr for the opening. But the food is worth waiting. I ordered beef Udon soup, curry udon, and oden. They are all delicious! The noodles are chewy, the soup is umami, everything is good. Btw, this store is cash only.

  • Arrived at 7:30pm before they opened and got seated by 8:15pm. Great udon texture and flavour.

  • Already had dinner nearby and decided to give it a shot. (Patrons were 90% foreigners) To the point: very good, curry prepared with beef stock; oden a pleasant surprise—quiet, precise service, efficiently handling the crowd. Joined the queue at 8pm, dined at 8.30+ on a weeknight.

  • The best curry udon you can find in Takamatsu. It is a bit pricey considering that it is located in Kagawa prefecture but still they have so much flavor. I highly recommend this olace if you want to eat curry udon.

  • worths the wait (almost 1 hour). you line up outside, and then cheap and delicious freshly made udon noodles waiting for you inside. you can get the oden downstairs, they will count the price by the number of bamboo stick. the tatami seats are comfy upstairs.

  • 100 stars. Probably the best and most sincere udon shop in Japan! Handmade udon made live in the restaurant itself. Kitchen is as clean as it gets in such a heavy duty kitchen, utterly impressive. Staffs are extremely caring and friendly. The bosses are all extremely hardworking and the udon and dashi soup taste god like. Everything is meticulous and delicious. They treat foreigners very well and has a full menu in English complete with description and photos. 100% recommended to everyone!

  • After having dinner at the olive-fed Wagyu teppanyaki restaurant across the street, I saw that line full of business people waiting to eat in this restaurant. This was about 10pm on a Tuesday night and I was curious to see what it was all about. Since they close at 3am, I thought I’d just come here later when the lines dies down. I then came back at 2am and didn’t have to wait to get seated. Being in Kagawa, I was so excited to try the udon. We ordered the Gyushabu curry udon and the regular Niku udon. The Gyushabu curry udon is good but it wasn’t our favorite. As for the Niku udon, this would’ve been the perfect bowl of udon soup if only the noodles were a bit more chewy and had more bite. The soup is so comforting and it’s possibly one of my favorite soup I’ve had anywhere. We also got some stuff from the oden and they were all tasty.
